Once over that bridge we take a broad overview of the books of the New Testament considering their authors, authority and time of writing. As if this were not enough, the notes then explore the gospel writings of the four evangelists, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. We consider their similarities and distinctions, purpose for writing, key words and the history of each of the writers. A broad timeline of events in the gospels is also included.
