God's joyful command in Psalm 149:3 is that we "Praise His Name in the dance".

One of the meanings of the Hebrew word "rejoice" means to "spin and whirl wildly" - to abandon ourselves completely to God's Presence in childlike trust and wonder. Acts 17:28 declares, "in Him we live, and move, and have our being"

Our movement - our very life and breath - are now in Christ Jesus. You are anointed to break chains of oppression as you freely and openly worship God from your heart.

Christian Dance and the dancer's body

The New Testament speaks about the Believer's body as an instrument of holiness in the hand of God - a weapon of righteousness in the spiritual war that is taking place all around us. Not a war of guns and bombs, but a war where the high praises of God are our most powerful ammunition.
