Jesus Christ – The Name Above All Names

Jesus Christ is to me the outstanding personality of all time, all history, both as Son of God and as Son of Man. Everything he ever said or did has value for us today and that is something you can say of no other man, dead or alive. There is no easy middle ground to stroll upon. You either accept Jesus or reject him.

The dying Jesus is the evidence of God’s anger toward sin; but the living Jesus is the proof of God’s love and forgiveness.

Jesus is God spelling Himself out in language that men can understand.

Whatever our creed, we stand with admiration before the sublime character of Jesus.

The dearest friend on earth is a mere shadow compared to Jesus Christ.

There is no better news, than the fact that Jesus can actually turn a life upside down and save it.

Jesus Christ was an extremist for love, truth and goodness.

No man can follow Christ and go astray

Why don’t the names of Buddha, Mohammed, Confucius offend people? The reason is that these others didn’t claim to be God, but Jesus did.

Christianity is not a doctrine, not truth as truth, but the knowledge of a Person; it is knowing the Lord Jesus. You cannot be educated into being a Christian.
